Just when it seemed to be getting safe to go out again, the sky froze and rained snow all over most of the world it seems. Despite all this the sun is shining, so the snow will probably be gone very soon.
Happy birthday to Christian Bale, who is 36 today.

Jimmy Carr - Rapier Wit
Jimmy hit the Toon last night with a second run of his Rapier Wit tour generating much applaud and laughter with out trying to laugh too much himself, this is probably thanks to Rob Brydon on Big Fat Quiz of the Year. The 'questions' section even involved one guy asking him to laugh to which he replied 'Say "pooper scooper"', pooper scooper and rollercoaster are the only two things Carr says he can say in a Geordie accent. Legendary.
Met him after the show, was nice.

Jimmy Carr
Newcastle City Hall, tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to this. I'm a big fan of Jimmy but his appearance is slightly intimidating. I'm very mean. Oh, and his also has this funny laugh.

Malevolence
My copy (2 discs and a DVD) came through the door this morning, I am uploading it as we speak. Right, just pressed play. I'm liking the trumpets! Four tracks in and it's already an album of all sorts, incorporating jazz and upbeat melodies alongside quieter pieces. Although this album is a collection of B-Sides throughout Mando Diao's career (excepting the Give Me Fire era of nowadays), it is a little hard to tell what album each b-side coincides. But maybe that's just me. It's not available in the UK (as of yet) but it's a recommendation.

Great start to season 4
Heroes is certainly back with a bang! First 3 episodes were played over the weekend and can be viewed again on iPlayer, with the exception of episode 3 which will be 'officially' played on BBC 2 this Saturday at 22.30, the set time. BBC 3 tends to play each episode a week early, but at 5 minutes to midnight when most kiddies are in bed.
I like the name of The Libertines best of, Time For Heroes. It's what I tend to shout whenever Heroes is due on...

Heroes tomorrow
So, the wait is over as Heroes season four (volume 5: Redemption) hits our screens tomorrow night, starting with a double episode at 10:10pm over on BBC 2. I have no idea what is to happen in this series yet. I've been avoiding spoilers (America are a full half season ahead of us), I haven't been downloading the eps and I haven't even watched the season 4 preview trailer on the BBC Heroes page. All I've seen is the little intro clip thing at the end of series 3 and it's doesn't really tell you much about the new eps. Which is good in a sense as knowing too much would spoil it, as everyone knows. So that's tomorrow night. I don't think there's enough time there to catch up on all the previous seasons as my timer ticks to 33 and a half hours.
Expect me back soon...

Star Trek
First time around, it confused me with the fact the Romulans were future in the mind and there was an old Spock but I re-watched it and finally 'got' it. A black hole. I thought they just killed you, didn't know they were some sort of time travel device. Anyway, great film.

What does Malevolence mean?
And agreeduous?
Been watching the League of Gentleman, got through an entire series yesterday. Much fun.
Papa Lazarou is scary. But in a different sense that A Stroll Through Hives Manor Corridors is, that track sends shivers up my spine.
The above is the recent b-sides release for Mando Diao. Of course it's on it's way to me from Germany. Germans, lucky buggers, they get everything. If you're a band from Sweden, you are GUARANTEED to get airplay and record sales in Germany. So everything goes to Sweden, then to Germany, then the rest of the world have to pay a lot of money for imports. Half the bands I listen to are Swedish, and I'm a student.
